Seminar on Media and Corruption
The School of Communication and Media, jointly with the Slovak Section of Association of European Journalists, is organising a seminar at which they will present results of its research activities related to media coverage of corruption and corrupt practices in the media and among journalists. The seminar, which is funded by the EU FP7 ANTICORRP project, will take place on Friday afternoon, May 20, 2016.
The seminar will include results of computer assisted content analysis of corruption coverage by four leading Slovak newspapers in the period 2004 to 2013, as well as a selection of in-depth case studies tackling various roles and interactions of media and journalists when dealing with and/or covering corruption.
