Partnership for Social Development is a non-profit and non-governmental civil society organisation which initiates, develops and maintains democratic processes of building an active civic community, uncompromisingly applying the principles of protection of public interest, equity, ethics, nonviolence and integrity in the conduct of all stakeholders of social processes.

Munir Podumljak became a president of Partnership for Social Development in 1999 and since then his main activities are strategic and organisational management; program and project design; supervision of senior management team; trainer in conflict resolution, leadership, organizational development and policy analysis. Mr. Munir Podumljak is responsible for overall coordination of all projects implemented by the PSD. Some of these projects and research (past and present) include: The Analysis of Social Programs in the Republic of Macedonia (1999) in which PSD assessed the influence of the refugee crisis on social and ethnic relations in the Republic of Macedonia. Anti-Corruption: Building Community Awareness through Advocacy and Citizen Participation in Local Government Processes (2001-2002): Project resulted in the first indicative CSO assessment of the Corruption in the Republic of Croatia and the design of the Anti – Corruption CSO action framework that PSD is still applying in its actions. Case study, the City of Zagreb – Financial Management Policy Analysis (2005) where PSD analyzed the Public Procurement Policies (legal framework, implementation and impact) resulting in the publication Secret Processes of the Public Procurement, that framed the strategic direction for advocacy actions in the field of the public procurement policies. Policy Analysis Governance, Transparency and Accountability in the Field of Social Welfare of Mentally Handicapped Persons in the Republic of Croatia (2007- 2008) in which the goal was to detect and define the opportunities for corruption within the field of social welfare for mentally handicapped persons in the Republic of Croatia. PSD has also analyzed the largest ignored policy issue in transitioning countries - Property Restitution in the Balkans, and produced a report that outlines the key options and the accuracy of the restitution process in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia (report commissioned by the European Parliament). Good Governance and the Rule of Law CARDS 2004 Programme: Civic Society Anti-Corruption Response (2006 – 2008) aimed at building capacities, gaining support, research, analysis and publishing, and moving from issue-learning to social change action (advocacy) in Croatia. Project resulted with the Conflict of Interest – Why the bribery is not our biggest problem publication. Through BACCI - Balkan Anti-Corruption Civic Initiative (2010-2012), the state of conflict of interest in the region was researched and efficient mechanisms for combating conflict of interest were created. Project covered Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia, resulting with an extensive research and a publication – Conflict of interest – Silent killer of democracy. - Technical assistance to Science and Innovation Investment Fund, EU funded project for Ministry of Science, education and sports of the Republic of Croatia.
Aleksandar Stulhofer, PhD, is full professor of Sociology at the University of Zagreb and Affiliated faculty of the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction. He has participated in a number of international research projects including an FP6 project ("Crime as Culture"), the South-East European Social Science Survey, and World Values Survey. His main research interests are behavioral surveillance of HIV, human sexuality, social capital, socioeconomics, and analytical sociology.
Ana Hećimović has a Master in Journalism. In the last 4 years she has focused her work on research and assessment of policy impact and analysis of relevant cases of corruption. In particular, she analyses policy impact and measurement of the policy implementation; data collection on the real cases, analysis of media reports on cases, analysis of the relevant official statements and indicators and their compliance with the adopted policies. Together with the case-based analysis, she conducts evaluation of policies in the field of fight against corruption and she took part in the negotiations and drafting on the Public Procurement Act in Croatia, as well as in the monitoring of its implementation.
